Old-school exergaming
Those concerned about childhood obesity Stateside face a solution: turn the act of playing videogames, beloved sport of the couch potato, into a workout. A new "exergaming" gym called NexGym (Related) will get kids - and potentially adults - to do just that, according to (Related) Springwise.
The gym will offer over 20 games that encourage children to race bikes over the moon and participate in virtual pro-sporting events.
